Jeffrey “IntheMatrixxx” Pedersen and Shannon “ShadyGrooove” Townsend broke down the testimony of Robby Mook, the campaign manager for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential run, on the May 23 episode of “The Matrixxx Grooove Show” on Brighteon.TV.
As reported by Breitbart, Mook testified before a federal court in Washington, D.C. on May 20. While on the witness stand, the Clinton campaign manager revealed that the former first lady and secretary of state explicitly approved efforts to leak former President Donald Trump’s purported ties to the Moscow-based Alfa Bank.
“[I told her:] ‘We have this and we want to share it.’ She agreed to that. We decided to give it to a reporter so the reporter could run it down,” said Mook. “Our hope was they [the mainstream media] were going to run it down; that it would be substantive and accurate.”
The “Matrixxx Grooove” hosts played footage of a Fox News report about Mook’s May 20 testimony. The campaign manager served as a witness during the trial of former Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann.
Special Counsel John Durham charged Sussman with lying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) by claiming evidence of a “secret communications back-channel” to prove the Trump-Alfa Bank connection. Durham added that the former Clinton campaign lawyer claimed he was giving the information to the agency “as a concerned citizen” – which was false.
“Attorneys from both sides of the aisle – the government [prosecutors] and the defense [team] of Sussmann – looked a little surprised when Mook just basically blurted it out casually. Clinton herself was in favor of releasing this information to the media [and] giving it to [them] when it wasn’t fully vetted,” Fox News anchor David Spunt recounted. “Mook told jurors he would never have authorized Sussman to go the FBI with that information. He says it was up to the media to essentially vet this information.”
Trump’s ties to Alfa Bank were later debunked as false, alongside the larger “Russian collusion” conspiracy theory. “The Russia hoax is finally dead; the collusion delusion is over,” the former president commented on the disproved allegations.
Pedersen said: “Mook was on the stand and, apparently, he decided to tell the truth because he was possibly the frontman for Clinton. Maybe he feels like ‘Hey, I just got to tell the truth, because [I] just took an oath [prior to taking the witness stand].'”
Townsend said in agreement: “I think he had to come clean; he really didn’t have a choice but to come clean. I honestly think that he’s already more than likely in deposition. [Mook] has already exposed this initially. It came out in court and really set the weekend on fire.”
“ShadyGrooove” also pointed out the involvement of Mook, Sussmann and others in the Clinton campaign in the effort to discredit Trump through the Russiagate issue.
“It’s very interesting because you’re talking about the beginning of this Alfa Bank story going out there. They had the Alfa Bank story, they had the Steele dossier. This is one of the tools that they were utilizing to impugn the [former] president, or to maybe have an October surprise before the [November] 2016 election.”
True enough, the former first lady and secretary of state tweeted days before the 2016 presidential election about Trump’s supposed links to Alfa Bank. She cited “computer scientists” who uncovered the server in her tweet about the Trump-Russia connection. However, Durham subsequently pointed out that the aforementioned server was merely an email server used to send out marketing emails.
“Speaking of Mook, we reported that [he] fled to Spain right after his testimony. ‘I’m out, see you, I’m going to Spain. I mean, that’s interesting,” said Pedersen.
“I don’t know if [that’s] a great vacation destination necessarily,” replied Townsend, citing the mysterious June 2021 death of tech bigwig John McAfee while in a Spanish prison. Pedersen’s co-host insinuated the possibility of Mook being killed in the same manner as other Clinton associates.
